The Idea
Human Gate is a sustainable "Event 2.0," designed for my university thesis project in collaboration with Robot Festival in Bologna.
It's a new format promoting environmental and societal awareness. It offers in a physical place a virtual spaces where users can immerse themselves in music and art simulations. Situated in Bologna's historic centre, Human Gate is an integral part of the parallel activities of the Robot Festival weekend during the 12th festival.
The Project
Human Gate start with a portal to bring viewers into the virtual world. Thanks to devices like virtual glasses or phone, the customers can join the "meta-verse" overtaking the border of the gate enjoining music and art installation all around the historic city center of Bologna. The event incorporates a multimedia component experienced through Augmented Reality technology into offline and online application.

The Event 2.0
Called event 2.0 Human Gate is a new way to enjoy cultural event in a safely way right for everybody. After the Covid pandemic crisis all the event companies were in down. With Human Gate I wanted to develop a format where people can join the event as individual but be connected through virtual path, keeping all the safety rules.
Born for the 12th edition of the Robot Festival, during the event, a visual installation featuring a looped projection of an abstract video showcasing the project was supported by its variation in augmented reality through an online filter.
